Sam Carter, visiting professor of HOSC and director of Asian Art Research Center in Emily Art College, Canada, delivered a speech about the combination of New Media Technology and the opening ceremony of Beijing Olympic Games, especially animation and cartoon. He also inspired audiences by some small animation and DV displays on how to combine the design of opening ceremony of 2008 Olympic with Chinese extensive culture appropriately.
